Nice bed of Promicroceras and Cymbites, all of average size. These blocks also sometimes contain Xipheroceras and Caenisites, and possibly a couple of small Xipheroceras are present here. Should clean fairly easily - these stones pop well. Skill is required to work around the individual ammonites. Part of a larger block that was broken up into pieces when collected (other listings come from the same block - but unlikely to fit together!).

These blocks come up best with air pen and air abrasives but would be possible with just a pen. Some of the calcite might shatter with an engraver.

Ammonites 10-15mm average

★ ★ ★ Difficult. Recommended to use air pens and/or air abrasive where possible. Harder rocks and more complex fossils.
