A set for practicing preparation. A larger Dactylioceras (70mm) from Yorkshire (top right) and many smaller ammonites from Lyme Regis. Most of the smaller ammonites are Promicroceras but there are occasional Cymbites and possibly other ammonites among them. The weathered bed of Promicroceras has several partial specimens exposed on the edge, we hope there is a complete specimen or two inside, seems likely given the number on the edge. The popcorn stone is crammed with ammonites and should clean well.
