We are back open after a short break!

A group to practice preparation with.  Top left a single Promicroceras of around 15-20mm.

Top right a Xipheroceras of about 45mm.  Watch out for the spines, and remember the outer coil is slightly crushed.  Should be a nice specimen that fills most of the rock.

The bottom two specimens are blocks containing Promicroceras and at least one partial Xipheroceras.  They do not appear to be brilliant examples to prepare, but good ones to practice on.

Far right is a single Caenesites of around 20mm, among a drift of smaller ammonites.  Prepared from the other side it should be OK.  The weathered surface shows the rock popping from the larger ammonite.

Moderate Difficulty.
