Four Dactylioceras ammonite nodules from Yorkshire.  Each contains a single ammonite.  Most commonly these are D. commune. We are no experts on Whitby ammonites, but we think the bottom left specimen is D. athleticum.  This species has a more oval coil section, and the ribs are angles as they go over the keel. All ammonites 60-75mm diam.

Moderate Difficulty.
