Medium sixed Microderoceras birchi (around 11cm). One side is badly cut through by calcite veins and has a section missing. The keel also has some damage in places. The other side is far more promising, although it will have some calcite veins running through it. This ammonite has a double row of spines, the outer spines are visible in several places. Has the potential to be a nice specimen but will require work and care.

★ ★ ★ Difficult. Recommended to use air pens and/or air abrasive where possible. Harder rocks and more complex fossils. More likely to be ‘sticky’.
