We are closed for a short period to rest and recharge from 21st July to 2nd August. We thank you for your patience and understanding. Orders will be dispatched upon our return. URGENT orders (restricted to air scribe styli, o-rings and spares) will be dispatched immediately as always - we have somebody looking after these so you're not left without!

Both halves of a popped nodule containing three Xipheroceras and some small Cymbites, even a tiny Asteroceras. One Xiph is 45mm diam and popped, although only a partial as it is on the edge of the rock. The second Xiph is complete but preserved in poor quality calcite, and again popped (30mm). The third is just visible and around 35mm diameter, it needs preparing and looks good quality.

Rock 125mm X 100mm
Full nodule 60mm thick

★ ★ ★ Difficult. Recommended to use air pens and/or air abrasive where possible. Harder rocks and more complex fossils. More likely to be ‘sticky’.
